    Great Aunt Hattie
Picture
Great Aunt Hattie lived and was buried in Cownasville, Quebec but died while she was out on the Sloggett farm visiting her brother.  Now in Fredrick's youth, he had worked for his father in Cowansville in his Undertaking /Cabinetry shop so it didn't faze him when he had to prop Hattie up in the seat of the Essex and drive her to Vancouver to send home.  We still have this wonderful large painting on metal done by Hattie sometime before her death in 1933.
